Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. You will lead by example, coach technicians and service advisors, and help schedule coverage during peak hours to keep the location running smoothly.

This hands-on role focuses on customer experience, quick issue resolution, and daily shop operations, including cash handling, inventory, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment including the service bay.
• Basic math and cash handling; proficient with POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in supervising daily operations and lead in the manager’s absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote manufacturer-based recommendations.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
