FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office. You will lead a team, coach technicians and advisors, and help schedule coverage during peak periods, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, upselling per manufacturer guidelines, and maintaining a clean, efficient shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment including service bays.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; proficient with POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, stepping in for Store Manager when needed.
• Coach and train technicians and service advisors for consistent, high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard new team members on procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment aligned with brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and suggest additional work per guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support store metrics tracking and drive repeat business through service excellence.
