Job summary

VIP is seeking an Assistant Manager in Brookline to lead the service team in the Service Manager's absence, delivering an exceptional customer experience and VIP standards. You will coach staff, ensure safety, and coordinate with management to execute VIP programs.

The role demands strong leadership, communication, and automotive service knowledge, with a focus on compliance and safety across all daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and comply with policies.
• Educate customers on vehicle conditions via MPI and VIP processes.
• Aim for high SAX score through customer engagement and service delivery.
• Assist Service Manager and lead team when required to deliver better customer experience.
• Communicate across team, conduct daily huddles and store meetings, and manage scheduling.
• Oversee facility/equipment maintenance and ensure clean, compliant environment.
• Enforce Code of Ethics and municipal/federal regulations.
