Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Kissimmee, FL seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the store's service department with energy and integrity. You will coach technicians, optimize workflows and ensure safety, quality, and guest satisfaction in a busy automotive environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, customer interaction, equipment oversight, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role.
Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Supervising technicians and service personnel, planning and scheduling their duties.
Coaching service department teammates on operational issues.
Working directly with customers in sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, etc.
Evaluating performance and productivity of all service department personnel.
Managing parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring it complies with programs and updating stock.
Ensuring store safety, including use and maintenance of safety equipment.
Ensuring equipment/hardware layout and positioning within the service department.
Supervising shop area, equipment and teammates for compliance with safety procedures.
Coaching personnel on enforcing wheel torqueing process.
Ensures that proper inspections are being conducted.
