Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an experienced Auto Service Manager to lead technicians and support customer relationships in our store network. You will assign work, train staff, ensure quality standards, and drive sales through proactive service and effective communication between front and back shop.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and several years of auto service experience, plus leadership ability and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians successfully.
• Willingness to continue education and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions, vehicle inspections, and facilitating communication between back and front of shop.
