Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an experienced Auto Service Manager to lead technicians and deliver outstanding customer service. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, coordinate parts and equipment, and drive store performance through effective communication and operational excellence.

You will manage daily activity, ensure quality standards, and maintain high customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians successfully according to store requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions, thorough vehicle inspections, and facilitation of communication between the back and front of the shop.
