Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Service Manager to combine automotive repair expertise with strong people skills and customer service excellence. You will coach, lead and supervise vehicle technicians while assisting with parts and equipment purchases, ensuring high service standards and customer satisfaction.

You will schedule work, manage staff performance, and drive store sales through proactive communication, thorough inspections and quality control.

Qualifications

• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all interactions with customers, including proactive communication and follow-up.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and thorough vehicle inspections.
