Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an experienced leader to manage customer relationships and supervise technicians in our automotive service environment. You will coach staff, assist with parts purchases, and drive high standards of service.

The role emphasizes hiring, training, and retaining a capable auto service team while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and efficient shop operations. Strong automotive knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of customer interactions, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and feedback to foster relationships.
• Understand store operations from paperwork to financial transactions and policies.
• Enhance efficiency and ensure seamless store operations.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
