Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach technicians, and drive performance at the store level. You will recruit, schedule, and manage the team while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with customers on sales and service opportunities, monitor performance, manage parts inventory, and enforce safety and process compliance. The role emphasizes leadership, efficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Outstanding leadership and store management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role.
• Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in recruiting by assisting the Store Manager with final employment decisions.
• Supervise technicians and service personnel; plan and schedule duties; follow up on completion of assignments.
• Coach service department teammates on operations and ISI systems and service standards.
• Work with customers on sales, service opportunities, and adjustments.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service department staff.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases; ensure compliance with Tire Purchase Program.
• Ensure store safety and maintenance of equipment and layout.
• Oversee shop area, equipment, and staff for safety compliance.
• Coach enforcement of wheel torqueing processes and inspections.
