Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Greenville, MS is seeking an Assistant Manager who will split time between the service bay, front counter, and back office to support the Store Manager in daily operations.

You will lead a team to deliver fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service, coach technicians and advisors, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and policy compliance while driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting company values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings per guidelines.
• Assist with cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory monitoring.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and customer areas in line with brand standards.
