Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in the United States seeks an Assistant Manager who splits time between the service bay, front counter, and back office to help lead day-to-day operations. You will support the Store Manager, coach technicians and service advisors, greet customers, explain services, and drive fast, quality automotive service while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run location.

This hands-on role is a path toward store leadership and requires strong communication and a customer-focused

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ASE certification or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead team and supervise daily operations in the manager's absence.
• Coach and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive fast, quality automotive service.
• Support inventory, POS, and cash handling.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs.
