Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge the gap between customers and technicians, explaining recommendations and identifying upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe. You’ll play an active role in the service lane, driving customer loyalty and satisfaction.

In this role you will meet sales targets, greet customers, perform vehicle walk-arounds, and communicate clearly to help customers plan ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to meet targeted sales goals and work with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm and prepare for customer appointments.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs via walk-arounds and test drives.
• Communicate service recommendations with customers in clear, understandable terms.
• Produce repair orders with cost estimates and time frames.
• Coordinate with service technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
