Job summary

Hireology is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to own the customer experience in the service lane. You will be the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service.

From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others and driving satisfaction throughout the repair journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• 2+ years of franchise dealer-level or large facility service advisor experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM products preferred, but not required.
• Unrestricted NYS driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for service customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Explain repair processes, warranties and services to customers.
• Create repair orders and communicate vehicle needs clearly to technicians.
• Advise and sell needed work to customers.
• Follow up with customers during the repair process and keep them updated.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, vendors, and technicians.
• Return calls to set up new appointments.
