Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Fort Collins seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead a hands-on team across the service bay, front counter, and back office.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, schedule coverage, onboard new hires, and uphold safety, quality, and brand standards while delivering fast, friendly customer service. This role provides growth opportunities into store leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay and front office.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach technicians and service advisors to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures and POS systems.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings.
• Support daily store operations, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ensure services are performed safely and to brand standards.
• Support safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
