Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Ft Collins location. This hands-on role splits time between the service bay, front counter, and back office, supporting daily operations and leading the team to deliver fast, high-quality automotive service.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years in a leadership role in retail or automotive service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in supervising daily operations and lead the location in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting the brand's values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive repeat business through excellent service.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
