Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager across the service bay, front counter and back office in Ocean Springs, MS. You will lead by example, coach technicians and service advisors, schedule coverage, and help deliver fast, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean store.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining services, upselling when appropriate, resolving issues, and monitoring inventory and cash handling.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a retail or automotive leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store in the manager’s absence and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell per manufacturer guidelines.
• Oversee cash handling and POS transactions and maintain inventory levels.
