Job summary

Jeff Wyler Lawrenceburg CDJR is accepting applications for an Automotive Service Advisor at our Greendale, IN location. You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, prepare repair orders, and relay repair estimates and service updates.

Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely repairs while maintaining strong customer relationships. Minimal requirements: prior service-advisor experience in automotive settings and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Current experience in a Service Advisor role preferred (automotive preferred such as dealership, customer service, sales, or technician).
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Organized, friendly and professional demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
• Prepare repair orders and obtain necessary customer authorizations.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
• Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and service updates to customers.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient repairs.
• Monitor vehicle progress throughout the repair process and proactively address any delays or concerns.
• Review completed repairs with customers and explain services performed.
• Ensure all repair orders are closed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in achieving department sales and customer satisfaction goals.
• Stay current on CDJR products, services, warranties, recalls, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner.
