Job summary

John Jones Auto Group in Indiana is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to their needs, and schedule appointments. You will verify insurance for loaner cars and collaborate with the service team to ensure accurate work orders.

You will obtain vehicle information, report symptoms, prepare estimates, and communicate clearly with customers about costs and timelines. A positive attitude and commitment to long-term growth within our growing dealership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in service department.
• Ability to identify problems quickly.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers
