Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to problem descriptions, and collect vehicle information.
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork and inform customer if work is needed.
• Obtain customer agreement on repairs; estimate costs and timelines.
• Advise customers on car care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Handle minor customer complaints and follow up on repairs.
• Monitor progress of repair orders and inform customers of changes to estimates or timelines.
• Answer telephone inquiries and return messages promptly.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and explain charges and coverage.
• Refer leads to sales and assist the service manager as needed.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize exposure to fumes and chemicals.
