Job summary

Group 1 Bob Howard Nissan is seeking a Service Advisor to guide customers through their service experience with accuracy and care. You will greet customers, document concerns, and manage repair orders while coordinating with technicians and parts staff.

The role requires prior customer-facing sales experience and a passion for exceptional service. Saturdays are required, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered by Group 1 Automotive.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing sales experience is required.
• Automotive Service Advisor experience is a big plus (dealerhip preferred).
• Xtime & CDK experience is a plus.
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and must maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and accurately document concerns and service needs
• Create detailed repair orders with clear, transparent cost and time estimates
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments to prioritize work and ensure timely completion
• Provide consistent updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and any changes to scope or cost
• Deliver vehicles upon completion, reviewing work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain strong product and warranty knowledge to confidently guide customers through service recommendations
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business
