Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and act as a liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure needs are met.

Responsibilities include presenting repair recommendations, providing cost estimates, and following up on repairs to maintain satisfaction. Previous service advisor experience is preferred, with emphasis on strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Authorized to work in the USA; valid driver's license; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to each customer and articulate repair needs to technicians.
• Present recommended services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs.
• Adhere to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation.
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress.
• Sell and manage extended warranties.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repairs and costs to customers.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and document feedback.
• Keep the Service Manager informed of problems and potential issues.
• Maintain CSI scores by dealership standards.
