Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores in Waldorf, MD is seeking a Service Advisor to welcome customers, schedule appointments, and act as liaison between customers and service technicians. You will provide accurate repair estimates, upsell warranted services, and follow up on repairs to keep customers informed, while upholding high CSI scores and delivering excellent, friendly service.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with prior experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS proficiency preferred.
• Strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to repair needs and articulate them to technicians.
• Present recommended services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs.
• Follow up on repairs and keep customers informed of progress.
• Sell and manage extended warranties.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure work is complete.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repairs and costs to customers.
• Maintain CSI scores per dealership standards.
