Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Virginia service team. You will be the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring vehicles are diagnosed, serviced, and repaired efficiently. The role emphasizes strong communication, accurate documentation, and attentive follow-up with customers.

Full-time position with Sundays off and weekend availability. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $150,000+ per year, with performance-based earnings and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Document customer vehicle issues accurately.
• Explain recommended services and repairs in detail.
• Communicate estimated costs and obtain approval.
• Schedule appointments and manage service bay availability.
• Coordinate with technicians for timely repairs.
• Update customers on status of their vehicles.
