Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to schedule service work, communicate repair needs, and sell additional services. You will interact with customers, prepare estimates, and coordinate vehicle care with the service team.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and a team-oriented approach within a community-focused dealership network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of service/advisory experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and determine the nature of their vehicle issues.
• Obtain accurate customer and vehicle data and communicate repair needs clearly to customers.
• Provide labor and parts estimates and obtain customer approval when applicable.
• Track progress of each repair order and follow up with customers regarding time estimates and changes.
• Maintain CSI ratings and ensure work is completed as requested to minimize comebacks.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and explain any follow-up maintenance needs.
