LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to schedule service work, sell additional services, and maintain customer relationships. The role emphasizes strong communication, accurate data entry, teamwork, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves advising customers on vehicle care, providing labor and parts estimates, and coordinating with technicians and the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive service is preferred.
• Professional personal appearance and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read instructions and enter data accurately.
• Solid computer skills and proficiency with web navigation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts; manage approvals as needed.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work and update repair orders.
• Follow up on progress of each repair and communicate changes to customers.
• Deliver vehicles and answer customer questions.
• Maintain CSI ratings and ensure quality control to reduce comebacks.
• Establish payment method and obtain credit approval when necessary.
• Maintain clean work and waiting areas.
