LaFontaine Automotive Group in Dearborn, MI is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to schedule service work and recommend additional services to customers, ensuring a smooth flow in the service department.

You will greet customers, collect vehicle data, and provide accurate estimates while maintaining strong CSI through professional communication. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer focus, and high service standards in a community-minded environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in service/advisor role.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate the web.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating as set by service manager.
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner; obtain customer and vehicle data.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts and obtain approval.
• Communicate with customers to determine the nature of their mechanical problems.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work and follow up on repair orders.
• Establish payment methods and obtain customer signatures on repair orders.
• Maintain clean work areas and establish relationships for repeat business.
• Deliver vehicles and answer customer questions.
