Job summary

Capital Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers needing maintenance and repairs. You will assess service needs, schedule appointments, and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely work completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES include inspecting vehicles, explaining services and costs, and collaborating with technicians. Candidates should have automotive service advising or related experience and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service advising or a customer service role in auto industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computerized systems for estimating, scheduling and invoicing.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose problems and recommend repairs.
• Explain services and costs to customers with clarity and transparency.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the department workload.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
