Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor in San Jose to bridge customers and service technicians. You will set appointments, determine vehicle needs, and provide cost/time estimates. You’ll use consultative selling to suggest maintenance that keeps drivers safe, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Greet customers, build loyalty, and manage follow-ups. A California driver’s license and strong communication are required; prior sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer experience and communication skills.
• Able to set and achieve sales and service goals.
• Valid California driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn technology and use dealership systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and set/confirm appointments for service.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information, walk-around, and tests.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff for timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.
