Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between Service Technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations in easy-to-understand language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, determine vehicle needs, and generate repair orders with transparent estimates. You will communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion and

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & CSAT.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs based on information, walkarounds, inspections and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost/time estimates and full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
