Job summary

AutoNation Ford Sanford is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge between service technicians and customers, explaining recommendations in clear terms and identifying up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe. You will set appointments, greet customers, and guide them through maintenance with transparent cost estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to follow up with customers
• Experience and desire to work with technology
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index
• Greet customers in a friendly manner
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and a walk-around/test drive
• Use consultative selling to plan maintenance
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff for timely completion
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction
• Gain product knowledge to help customers
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
