Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge the gap between customers and service technicians. You will explain recommendations in clear language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will manage appointments, meet sales and customer-satisfaction goals, greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and provide transparent repair estimates while maintaining strong communication with the service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• The willingness to follow up with customers and maintain relationships.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers so they can have a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-arounds.
• Use a consultative selling process for ongoing maintenance planning.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
