Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years of dealership experience.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts; establishes promised time.
• Contacts customers regarding changes to estimates or promised time; explains costs and time; obtains authorization for additional repairs.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintains CSI at least at manufacturer/branch average.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturer specifications.
• Follows safety policies and regulatory requirements.
