Hansel Toyota is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to guide customers through their service experience from start to finish. You will serve as the link between customers and our technicians, helping guests understand vehicle needs while delivering a supportive and efficient experience.

The role emphasizes clear communication, accurate repair order documentation, and presenting maintenance recommendations.

Qualifications

• Dealership service writing experience is a huge plus.
• Professional appearance and strong customer presence.
• Excellent communication skills — written & verbal.
• Ability to confidently recommend and sell service.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Able to pass a criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and deliver a premium check‑in experience.
• Write and manage repair orders with complete, accurate documentation.
• Present maintenance & repair recommendations clearly and ethically; gain approvals.
• Follow up on declined work to ensure safety and retention.
• Own the service lane flow: appointments, walk‑ins, updates, and promise times.
• Coordinate with warranty providers and keep guests informed at every step.

As a Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers through their service experience from start to finish. You’ll serve as the trusted link between customers and our technicians, helping guests understand their vehicle needs while delivering an experience that feels supportive, informed, and efficient.

Pay Range

Depending on job performance, the Service Advisor compensation ranges from $38,500.00to$160,000 +.

Pay Defined

The Service Advisor position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.31, plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
