Job summary

Tire Pros in Texas seeks a Service Advisor to advise customers on vehicle service needs, create repair orders, and coordinate with the service department.

You will greet customers, obtain approvals, and document services while assisting with payments. This role offers growth and career opportunities in a friendly, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or comparable vocational training.
• Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software.
• Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance issues.
• Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and establish rapport.
• Determine the nature of customer problems; may perform a road test or visual inspection.
• Create Repair Order Requests detailing service or merchandise.
• Obtain customer approval before delivering order to service personnel.
• Review completed repairs with customers and collect payment.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and restock displays as needed.
• Handle daily cash/sales procedures at close of business.
• Comply with Quality Control, Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations.

Job Summary

• Promptly meets and greets customers
• Determines the nature of customer problems; may make a road test or visually inspect the vehicle
• Creates Repair Order Request (ROR) detailing service to be performed or merchandise to be sold
• Obtains customer approval for service before delivering order to service personnel
• Reviews completed repairs or services performed with customers and collects payment
• Maintains cleanliness of showroom and re‑stocks display as needed
• Performs daily cash/sales procedures at close of business day
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations

Desired Qualifications

• High School graduate or comparable vocational training
• Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software
• Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance issues
• Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All‑Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions
• Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years experience in a retail environment, preferably auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance
  • 3+ years experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership or comparable professional environment.
  • Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician
