Job summary

Pohanka Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the dealership's sales team in Chantilly, VA. You will work with staff and customers to strengthen relationships and drive sales performance.

Responsibilities include managing vehicle inventory and dealer trades, maximizing CSI scores, mentoring staff, and overseeing desk deals and trade appraisals. A strong work ethic and professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive sales and F&I managerial experience preferred.
• Automotive Sales experience required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of inventory control.
• Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CDK).
• Professional
• Strong work ethic is a must.
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process.
• Build rapport with customers to establish customer network.
• Manage the vehicle inventory including ordering and dealer trades.
• Maintain impeccable CSI scores by embracing Pohanka's client first focus.
• Develop and motivate the sales staff while focusing on profitability.
• Help manage all other aspects of the sales department.
• Desk deals, appraise trades, lead the sales team.
