Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to both retail and installer customers at our Vermont location. You will greet customers, help select parts, quote prices, and promote the Low Price Guarantee while supporting store management in daily tasks.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking across in-store and phone interactions, familiarity with automotive parts, and the ability to perform cash handling and returns per policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policies.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and offer related items.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions securely and accurately.
• Perform daily store operations and maintain display and inventory standards.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
