Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. The role involves assisting store management, quoting prices, and processing returns, with bilingual candidates encouraged

The position also requires cash handling, stock management, and occasional in-store services such as battery testing and wiper installations, per company policy and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support store management and professional customers as needed.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts and quote prices per policy.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Assist with stocking, planogram updates, and daily store maintenance.
• Operate test equipment after training and fulfill in-store services as allowed by law.
