Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Killeen, TX is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by managing parts ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching for each repair order.

You will verify parts accuracy, work with vendors, enter invoices in MIS, and track parts by RO number to support the production schedule. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in auto parts, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability under pressure; problem solving.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate all customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on repair orders; ensure quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per the production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the RO number and store with vehicle/repair schedule.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor vendor performance and reconcile invoices.
• Ensure invoices/credit memos are posted and filed timely.
• Verify negotiated discounts on vendor invoices to maintain margins.
