Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing the end-to-end process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order.

You will verify the accuracy and quality of parts against the production schedule and vehicle needs, while communicating with vendors and team members to ensure timely delivery and proper stocking for shop repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer service oriented with ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders, confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop according to production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and scheduled repairs; communicate Parts Price Changes to required team members.
• Order and receive supplemental Parts in the MIS, monitor performance of parts and vendors; reconcile invoices.
• Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned in a timely manner.
• Ensure vendor invoices have negotiated discounts to maintain margins.
