Job summary

Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to support public safety by maintaining alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic systems. The role blends hands-on electrical work with customer service and training responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will work on 12-volt DC systems, perform diagnostics, and manage device installations, calibration updates, and log-downloading tasks while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in 12-volt DC systems, wiring, diagnostics and circuit analysis.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and ability to provide phone support and training.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Provide phone support and customer training to ensure satisfaction.
• Make reminder calls and conduct weekly inventory audits as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
