Job summary

Smart Start is seeking a Service Technician to ensure reliable operation of alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic systems. You will blend technical expertise with customer service in a hands-on role servicing automotive tech.

The job involves installation, troubleshooting, training customers, and supporting regional operations while maintaining a safe, clean work environment and complying with all regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with 12-volt DC vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to wire, install, and program electronic vehicle devices.
• Experience with vehicle dashboards and interior components.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Train customers and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
• Make reminder calls for upcoming appointments and perform inventory checks.
• Maintain confidentiality, data security and regulatory compliance.
• Perform vehicle-to-vehicle transfers and assist regional operations.
