Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Customer Specialist in Training to deliver a customer-first experience across buying, selling, and servicing vehicles. You will learn hands-on in a fast-paced environment, guiding customers through the journey and coordinating appraisal, paperwork, and service scheduling.

As part of the CarMax team, you will develop strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork while upholding our EH&S guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding customers through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct accurate vehicle condition assessments and document details for appraisals.
• Manage inventory processes including vehicle check-in, scanning, and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle administrative tasks: printing reports, maintaining paperwork, auditing documents, processing payments.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair invoices for accuracy while collaborating across teams.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
