Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Automation Technician I to maintain and improve our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). You will work with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment running reliably and with minimal downtime, following OSHA and safety standards.

The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across conveyors and automation systems, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are part of the job as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on ASRS and related automation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on various equipment.
• Safety-conscious and compliant with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on ASRS and related automation equipment.
• Diagnose issues and minimize downtime in collaboration with operations.
• Maintain maintenance records and part inventory.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance documentation.
• Ensure safety standards and use fall protection where required.
• Communicate problems clearly to onsite personnel.
• Support cleanliness and general upkeep of the service area.
