Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks an Automation Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve our ASRS and related automation equipment. You will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to keep systems reliable, minimize downtime, and support throughput goals.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, installation and commissioning of new components, and training operations staff in basic troubleshooting and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or tech school graduate.
• 2–5 years of mechanic experience with automated systems and conveyors.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and PLC components of complex automation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple types of equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to diagnose and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ASRS and related automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within the ASRS.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize system performance and throughput.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new ASRS components.
• Maintain parts inventory and repair records; document maintenance procedures.
