Kenco Logistics is seeking an Automation Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve our ASRS and related automation equipment. You will work with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support productivity at Kenco Fleet Services.
This role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge, strong problem-solving under pressure, and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of mechanic experience with automated systems or conveyors.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge for complex automation.
- Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical info.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on ASRS and related automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operations to optimize ASRS performance and throughput.
- Assist installation and commissioning of new ASRS components.
- Maintain parts inventory and repair documentation; train staff on basics.
