Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Automation Technician I to maintain and troubleshoot our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). You will work with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability at our Nevada facility.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, with work in elevated areas using fall protection. Strong safety focus and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; tech school preferred.
• 0–2 years of mechanic experience with automated systems or conveyors desired.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple equipment types.
• Good written and verbal communication, and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on ASRS and related automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues in elevated work areas using appropriate fall protection and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize system performance and throughput.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and repair records; document maintenance procedures.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards during all tasks.
