Job summary

Codale Electric Supply in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Automation Specialist in Software & Control to join our Industrial Controls team. You will act as a technical resource to our sales force, understand customer applications, and help design Rockwell Automation solutions.

This role emphasizes practical automation knowledge and a strong customer focus, with travel to customer sites as needed. The successful candidate will collaborate with Codale account managers, apply PLC programming and system

Qualifications

3+ years in industrial automation or controls.
Experience with PLC-based control systems using Allen-Bradley/Rockwell.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical resource for PLC, I/O, HMI, industrial networking, safety, and related automation applications.
Work with customers to understand applications and select Rockwell Automation solutions.
Provide guidance on PLC programming, system architecture, migrations, and BOMs.
Partner with account managers to identify and close automation opportunities.
Document customer activity in CRM and track opportunities through closure.
Deliver technical presentations and trainings for customers and internal teams.
