Job summary

Fromm Electric Supply is seeking a Specialist in our Industrial Automation Group to drive growth of automation solutions across the territory. You will serve as the primary technical and commercial resource, helping customers identify and implement solutions that improve productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow industrial automation solutions across the territory.
• Partner with sales teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, Inside Sales, and Outside Sales on automation products and applications.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Apply technical expertise in VFDs, MCCs, motor control systems, and related automation technologies.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training for customers and sales teams.
• Collaborate with Rockwell Automation representatives and internal specialists to develop complete customer solutions.
• Support customer modernization, lifecycle replacement, and new application opportunities involving automation technologies.
• Lead the introduction of new products and technologies through training, market development, and promotional activities.
• Support promotional campaigns, customer events, trade shows, seminars, and technology showcases.
• Maintain demonstration equipment, sales collateral, and technical resources to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and help expand automation solutions into new markets and applications.
• Support inventory planning and product mix recommendations to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise in automation technologies and related solutions.
