Job summary

CED is seeking an Automation Solutions Sales Engineer to drive the company’s growth strategy across programmable controllers, I/O, HMI, safety, and related automation software. You will bridge Rockwell Automation with distributors, align account plans, and lead design and sales discussions.

This role requires travel and a strong background in automation technologies. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, have several years of product experience, and excel in solution

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, experience, and education.
• 3+ years of experience applying Rockwell Automation products or equivalents.
• Experience in outcome-based selling.
• Proven technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in account planning and sales strategy.
• Provide selection and design advice as needed.
• Create and execute plans to exceed growth targets and revenue for assigned product segments.
• Be accountable for revenue performance of assigned product segments.
• Serve as domain expert around automation business and continuously build competency.
• Coordinate sales team efforts to identify and close account conversions and project opportunities.
• Travel to customers within assigned geographic area.
