Job summary

The Reynolds Company in Odessa, Texas seeks an Automation Specialist to apply Rockwell Automation technologies, including Studio 5000, PLC/PAC programming, HMI, and data analytics, to support customers and internal teams.

You will engage in pre-sales support, product launches, training, and solutions demonstrations, collaborating with sales, marketing, and Rockwell resources to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Studio 5000 programming experience with Ethernet/IP knowledge is a must.
• HMI/Visualization, historian, dashboards, and analytics software experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS, ERP, and CRM systems.
• Excel/Outlook/Word proficiency; strong written and verbal communication.
• Travel willingness and valid driver’s license required.
• 4 years of experience with Rockwell Automation or equivalent solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain expert for Software and Controls within Reynolds business.
• Provide pre-sales technical and commercial support to customers and sales teams.
• Launch and train on new Software and Controls products and technologies.
• Offer design and selection guidance for Rockwell Automation products.
• Develop and implement the Software and Controls business plan with leadership.
• Collaborate with Rockwell Field leads for feedback on accounts and opportunities.
• Assist in account planning and sales strategy for new and existing customers.
